Pre-COVID, all of us had plans to look forward to and Arts for All was no different. On 1st April 2020, we were supposed to be having an ‘Animal Party’ but unfortunately this was postponed. Over a year later, on 21st April 2021, we were finally able to have the ‘Spirit of the Wild’ team join us, and it was definitely worth the wait!
We had 2 separate animal events, one during the day for our adult members and the other later in the afternoon after school for the children. They taught us all about each creature and answered our questions too. Everyone was very excited to get involved so they could get up close and hold some of our beautiful wildlife. Even our CEO Caroline was brave enough to hold a snake around her neck!
It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. One said, it was “the best day EVER” and another said, “Thank you for making us so happy”. In fact, it was so good they could not stop talking about it! One parent told us, “My children came home buzzing. They have talked of nothing else!”
It was certainly a day our members will never forget! Thank you so much to the lovely Ben and Hannah from Spirit of the Wild, you were amazing! We are so happy to be back at Arts for All following months of being closed due to the pandemic. It has been amazing seeing so many smiley faces, both new and old ones. We can’t wait to enjoy many more fun events in the future!
