Another fun filled month at Arts for All, see below what we've been up to!
A trip to the Tate Modern
A fun day out for the adults this month was to the Tate Modern (and ofcourse, a pub lunch after).
Shout out of the week
A special shout out to Aaliyah this month! She is showing her entrepenurial flare by creating stunning jewelry including earrings, pendants and key rings, and setting up a stall to sell them to visitors of the art centre. We love to encourage and see this, and it has been very successful so far.
Arts for All Pancake Madness
Ofcourse on Pancake Day we had fun making pancakes, flipping them and choosing our favourite toppings!
An incredible mural for Arts for All
Last year Will Redgrove, a local muralist, hosted a workshop with the adults resulting in the incredible mural of Tony on Redchurch Street. Following on from this, Will came back for another colourful workshop which then turned into an even bigger mural of the entire Rainbow Club! This is located on Hague Street by the 388 Cafe. A huge thank you to Will Redgrove, Real Crowd Noise and everyone involved in bringing this to life.
Charity Abseil
To raise money for Arts for All, Charli is doing the UK's highest free fall abseil from the Olympic Parks Acelormittal Orbit. We are aiming to raise £1,000 and would appreciate any donations big or small! You can donate over on JustGiving: https://www.justgiving.com/page/charli-artsforall
We will end this newsletter with some creative highlights from the month!
How wonderful. I wish I lived nearer and could get involved with this amazing charity. Incredible art, incredible people, beautiful moments and smiles that melt hearts.😊
