As the year comes to an end, we've been getting in the festive spirit and celebrating in style. Here is what we have been up to, as well as some of the years highlights!
Our friends at WEIL
We were invited to Weil's London office for a day of activities, as well as a VIP art tour of their office! They treated us to a lovely lunch and we super welcoming, the group had such a wonderful time.
Columbia Road Christmas Carol Service
One Wednesday evening we took the Rainbow club out for a lovely dinner at The Birdcage pub before wandering down Columbia Road and browsing all the shops. Afterwards, a piano on wheels came down the street with the team from St Peter's Bethnal Green church and the singing began - obviously Tony and Debbie gave it their all! We also made it on to BBC London for their live coverage (haha!)
Children's Christmas Party
We ended the year of the Kids Club with a Christmas party, we made wreaths, played games and had hot chocolates! It was such a laugh and we already can't wait to welcome the kids back in January!
Rainbow Group Lunch
Sadly because of the snow, we were unable to go to the annual Painter-Stainers Livery Companies Carol Service this year, so instead we decided to head out for a lunch at Pizza Express for our Christmas celebrations - Pizza Express is always a winner! Before we went out, we had a fun-filled morning with volunteers from Salesforce.
Highlights of the year!
For this final newsletter of 2022, we firstly wanted to give our HUGE thanks to everyone involved with Arts for All, everyone who supports us and all the members for the AFA Family. Here are a few highlights of the year.
Obviously our holiday's to Scotland & Devon were, and always will be, a yearly highlight. We know a huge highlight for the adults was dancing and singing on stage with Elvis!
Another huge highlight was the 21 year anniversary celebrations - the wonderful lunch at Joe Allens and the super fun party too!
Looking back, there are so many amazing activities and outings we've done this year, but the top two would be our trip to see the The Lion King, and the workshops we've been doing with Will Redgrove, resulting in the amazing mural of Tony in Shoreditch.
